Message from the Chair of the CINP Membership and Credentials Committee, Professor Elias Eriksson

As Chair of the Credentials and Membership Committee of CINP I would like to thank you for supporting CINP by your continuing membership to the College.

CINP membership brings with it many benefits including a significant reduction of $700 to publish in our Journal which in 2015 was published as an Open Access Journal with Oxford University Press.  CINP members are also eligible for reduced registration fees at all CINP meetings and events.

CINP prides itself on the high standard of science within our conference programmes. We are next hosting a Thematic Meeting in Prague in 2017 on ‘Treatment Resistant Depression‘, and our 2018 World Congress will take place in Vienna, the theme of which will be ‘Neuropsychopharmacology: Meeting Global Challenges with Global Innovation‘. Further information on these meetings can be found below.

Payment for 2017 CINP membership is now due. Information on how to renew your membership dues will be sent to you over the coming weeks from our Central Office.

Please note that a new category of CINP membership, Associate Member, at a cost of $25 per annum, has recently been introduced. I would appreciate if you, in addition to renewing your own membership, would encourage young co-workers of yours to join CINP, which they can do through our website, www.cinp.org.

Your contact at the CINP Central Office is Abi Burke: cinp@cinp.org. If you have any questions regarding your membership, please do not hesitate to contact our Central Office.

We look forward to receiving your membership renewal and seeing you at our forthcoming meetings.

2017 Prague Thematic Meeting

CINP are hosting a Thematic Meeting from the 20th – 22nd July 2017 on ‘Treatment Resistant Depression’ at the GrandioR Hotel in Prague.

Thematic Meetings are educational and research based meetings run by CINP to identify topics of critical and urgent importance for the field of neuropsychopharmacology, and holding authoritative conferences to bring together the diverse international perspectives on the matter, and synthesizing the state-of-the-art in definitive reviews/proceedings from the meeting.

The Local Organising and Scientific Programme Committee are in the process of developing the programme for this meeting and this will be announced via social media and the CINP website over the coming months. Poster submission will also be opening soon, so look out for the upcoming announcements.

We hope you will join us in Prague in 2017!
