As part of our mission ‘advancing worldwide neuroscience and education for brain and mental health’, CINP is committed to bringing opportunities for networking and education to all members of our global community.

One of the most important ways in which we can achieve this is by rotating the World Congress to allow scientists and clinicians from all over the world to attend this prestigious event in person and we believe that our members have an important role to play in this process.

We are therefore now seeking applications from CINP members to host CINP2027 – the 38th World Congress of Neuropsychopharmacology.

Any CINP member in good standing is eligible to apply to hold the CINP World Congress, which offers your country the opportunity to boost its visibility and status within the international scientific community, to showcase research being undertaken and to enhance international understanding of local culture and traditions.

The enclosed Bid Book outlines the timeline for the application and selection process, provides detailed information about the congress and destination/venue requirements and sets out the required bid structure and evaluation criteria.

Expressions of interest to host CINP2027: 31st December 2024

Detailed bid application: 31st March 2025

The applicant should designate the proposed Co-Chair of the World Congress, who should be well-known within the international scientific community and prepared to travel widely to promote the event. Confirmation that a relevant national/regional psychiatric or psychopharmacology organisation is committed to the event will be a significant positive factor in the overall bid evaluation.
